Georgia CORE has established a cancer research network which unites academic and community-based scientists, clinicians, educators, public health practitioners, survivors and advocates. Those dedicated to cancer research share in the quest to create more effective cancer treatments, identify methods to prevent and control cancer and extend the successes of advanced medicine and clinical research across the state to all Georgians, especially those disproportionately affected by cancer. Georgia CORE advances scientific opportunities, quality initiatives and new discoveries through the multi-disciplinary network which crosses institutional lines.
